We are Kat & Meg. Artists, mummas and all round forces of nature living in East London. Meg is a singer, songwriter, actor and voice over artist originally from Ohio and Kat is a writer, director and actor originally from Oxford. We’re freelancers, we’re creatives, we’re hustlers.

It’s 2016. Kat was writing, directing and performing in theatre; Meg was writing and performing music. In our down time we were at most of the parties Hackney had to offer. Grimy, badly lit, dank spaces with overpriced (often warm) beer and a monotonous BPM. We could do better. We wanted to elevate those parties. To bring theatre, jazz, decadence and play.

So we set up Hullabaloo as an events company and proceeded to host everything from intimate album launches to riotous costume parties. If there was a warehouse, club or empty space to fill, we filled it with joy, exuberance and fun.
